I have been self employed since 1989 and since this time I have
made the choice to never wear a watch. This means that I am no
longer constantly watch watching as I did when working as a
Graphic Designer in London - eager for the day to end and escape
home to my paintings.

This simple idea suddenly makes a watch far more appealing, charged
as it is with endless references to time passing and lives lived and lost.
