here in my little slice of frogland

just when i thought life was somewhat tough

an event outside of our control

and completely out of our life experience

has utterly shattered and thus reshaped our lives

from this day forward

this little blog is not the place to say

what has happened (sorry to be obtuse)

fortunately no one has died

but the road ahead is long and dark

man can be evil and evil has touched our lives

i hope that for the perpetrators of this crime

there is truth in the words of the proverb below
