for ever and a day...

marmite!

i love you

marmite is my favorite spread
i love it on my daily bread

so very british is this food
yet lots of people find it crude

my nana used to spread it thick
and make me feel rather sick

a little and often is my way
a perfect start to every day

is there anything particular to your homeland that you cannot do without?...

I miss all the food choices we have very slim pickings up here but I have to say I miss FRUIT! By the time it's trucked all the way up its not so good!

Hmm, Smoked salmon, now I want some, but it has to be perfect like it was in Upper Michigan :)

I love your blog and have never heard of Marmite , yeast extract? What in the world, amazing..... but I like peanut butter which my German friend finds disgusting. He also said marshmallows were the worst thing he ever put in his mouth. He loves cheese that smells so bad I have to leave the room, smells like a cat box on a bad day.
Enjoy Linda, xo
