the long road to bg part 4...

this is the final part of our
1500 mile trip from the uk to bg

a few images of the ferry trip

from venice to igoumenitsa greece

as i sit here and type the sky is grey

and there is a distinct chill in the air

this sunny trip is but a warm memory

the house here since our arrival  
has had new double glazed windows fitted
there are men fixing the roof this very instant
yet sadly not enough time to install a heating system
and with temperatures which can drop to -20
handsome and i are weedy specimens
not up to the challenge
of a long cold harsh bulgarian winter   
and so we will decamp to greece
and return here in march
