tell me when you do something creative be it cooking,
gardening, sticking or stitching are you a tidy
worker or a 'oh what a mess' like me?...

Tidy in the kitchen (through desperation) and a complete slob everywhere else! I don't KNOW how my sewing projects extend themselves throughout the house the way they do - even the mending! So you're not alone...
Happy New Year to you!
I am messy always but I tidy up as soon as I've finished. Everything has to go back in the right place.
I'm a mess but before I go to bed the whole house has to be tidy and put away, does that sound crazy!
Your an artist so your little creative work places probably look like a piece of art!
I loved your outlook on dieting I'm trying to do it with our oldest son but I did not want to post that...so wish us luck. I'm proud of him you hate to see your kids struggle hows your son doing. Having a teen is not easy I wish they came with a tried and true book!
My house is clean and tidy but my studio is always in various stages of messiness. Fortunately its outside the house so I can walk away from my work and go back out to the mess and start where I left off. It can get pretty bad out there, when it does I spend an hour or so putting everything away. Slowly as I start working it all comes back out. Such is the nature of doing what we do.
Happy New Year LInda! xo Ro
I love this post.
My house is fairly clean and tidy but the inside of the desks look like a bomb has gone off.
Whenever I work on a project...I end up with crap scattered everywhere. Then I can't find the scissors...oh under the fabric...can't find the fabric...which bag is it in? Well, you get the idea.

I think I'm messy too when I'm working on something. But I try to clean up after myself. Enjoy the lovely day! Kellie xx
I make cards and gifts and I'm afraid I create carnage when working - it is just the way I am! Some people are filers and others pilers - I am the latter. I don't have the luxury of a studio and I am in the process of making almost every day - so piling works fine for me - until the piles start fall over and then I know I've gone too far!
At the moment I am having to live like a "slob", I am living out of my car though staying at my brothers and my friends place (so, not having any stabillity), my routine is topsy turvy, my life pretty much the same and will be until the end of march.
It's good to know however, that in this hustle bustle world there is a lot of people who have similar problems with routine, this what helps keep me sane.
Looking forward to seeing my princess when I do get home, hang in there baby. I love you so much.
