Yesterday we strolled to the town's Sunday Market and had a snoop around.
Sadly our town market would never rate as a top notch French affair
but still there were several foodie stands which inspired a dribble and drool.
The lady cooking 'les crepes' was really sweet and her produce,
after a few degustations was sublime.
However, sadly the euros couldn't stretch to making a few purchases.
Quality food here in France is excessively expensive;
as are the bills which keep on rolling in.
Nowadays I tend to buy all my grocery shopping in the UK,
where everything is, on average, 30% less expensive than here in
the land of cheese and snails; how times have changed...

I feel your pain Momma it's so expensive up here also...our your fruits and veggies as high as ours there too!
I know what you mean (although I consider the UK pretty pricey too :)) - these are wonderful market shots!
it is sad that markets tend to be more expensive, here too..
At least you got to buy some crepes - priorities for sure! Those are my favorite =)
oh my... that is a shame... to think in france there are so many great products!
