Studio Bookshelf...

Books are simply food for the soul and my studio is full of these little cerebral snacks. I love '(liquorice) all sorts' but especially appreciate the quirky nature of Ivor Cutler's writing and thought I'd share some absurdity with you today!  I am also a sucker for an auto/biograhy of other creatives, and am especially inspired by sucessful women who achieve against the odds. A woman can, I believe, have it all but not at the same time...

Ivor Cutler (15 January 1923 – 3 March 2006) was a Scottish poet, songwriter and humorist. He became known for his regular performances on BBC radio. Cutler also wrote books for children and adults and was a teacher  for 30 years in inner-city schools in London.

Didn't knew Ivor Cutler and I like that poem. Books, writing and poems are the other part of my being.
